The Manifesto

YOU'VE SAID ITBEFORE.THIS TIME, MEAN IT.

Promises have no witnesses. Notes apps let you quit in private. We make your word public, staked, and permanent.

The feeling

Shit. I said I would. I guess I actually have to.

Not accountability software. Not gamification. The feeling that makes you move.

Three worlds

PRIVATE PROMISES.
PUBLIC WORDS.

Every story is the same arc: talk in private → stake in public → become someone new.

The note you'll delete

Sarah

Launch by September.

She's written the same goal in Apple Notes four times.

She files one contract. $200. Deadline: September 30. Her sister gets a link:

I'm on the record now.

September 29 she ships. Not because an app nagged her — because deleting the goal would mean admitting she lied in public.

The brother who didn't believe him

Marcus

Sure you are.

Marcus tells his brother he's going to hit $1M revenue this year.

Marcus sends one link: Doubt me. $50 to charity if I win.

December 31 Marcus hits. His brother's $50 goes to charity. The smirk is gone — not because Marcus won an argument, but because he kept a promise his brother didn't think he would.

The miss that wasn't failure

Jen

Jen stakes $500 on running a marathon. She trains. She gets injured six weeks out.

On C&C, she taps I missed.

Most people would've just ghosted the goal. You paid. That's actually insane integrity.

Her $500 goes to the charity she picked. A receipt. Public. Clean.

She's someone who pays her word now.

One loop

SAY · STAKE · WITNESS · KEEP OR PAY

01

Say it

One goal. One deadline. One sentence.

02

Stake it

Real money — the line between talk and truth.

03

Witness it

One person who sees. Optional. Powerful.

04

Keep or Pay

Get it back when you deliver. Or pay your word to charity.

Repeat.
Identity compounds.

The Follow-Through Graph

Every important decision in the world — hire this person, lend them money, marry them, partner with them — is a bet on will they do what they say.

Today we guess. References lie. Resumes lie. LinkedIn lies.

Crowd & Courage builds the public record of who keeps their word. Starts with one person and one promise. Becomes the score everyone checks before they trust you.

Stripe proved who can pay. LinkedIn proved who you know. Courage proves who keeps their word.
